2nd hard disk, without doubt

Memory sticks only hold up to 2gb, external hard drives are expensive.

CD's only hold 700mb
DVD's can hold 4.7 or 8gb but these are expensive.

An extra internal hard disk is relatively easy to fit and will give you all the backup you need, if you have 80gb of data then got for a 120gb drive minimum.
