also noticed how it seems gunns 19 games in charge never happened and the ENTIRE season was down to someone else!

I reckon the board either:

a, had enquiries from other managers but had already decided that they would appoint gunn as he was the cheapest option, so caused the delay to convince fans they were mulling over options

b, had NO interest from other managers whatsoever so are stuck with gunn whether they like it or not.

either way i dont think we've ever been told the full story but cullum, the turners, munby/doomy, cullen, and now gunn.
