Dodgy ground though cause the implication is (when taken in context with what i believe was a question about a fan poll was it not?) That the opinion of those fans doesn't matter, even if he's not said it.

Not like it was made out maybe, but he's stupid to even skirt that issue.

He should have said "Of course the fans opinions matter, but at the moment the decision lies with the owners"

Or have i got that wrong?
