no one else would play them. they believed the team were unislamic (no beards, shorts etc) and they wanted to make the point. these are the same people who held executions at, unsceduled, as a warning to adulters etc, there is footage of a women who had sex out of marriage being shot on the edge of the penalty area with an ak47.
