Not sure where the Civil Service play now, because of the re-structure of the leagues, it's all gone silly. Teams like us are'nt allowed to play on good wickets because we don't 'showers' for every member enclosed. Sounds stupid but it's true. Norfolk Cricket is only about the EAPL, sod everyone else. Tis really sad because village Cricket is about just that, a day's competitive Cricket then everyone has a few beers. Swardston, Witchingham, Mallards........It really is rubbish and a shame on Cricket in Norfolk. Rant over. :(
