That evening, I ended up standing on a table teaching
a whole barful of Munich 1863 fans how to sing "On The Ball City". They seemed keen to learn it.
Funnily enough, I ran out of money and so couldn't afford to go to Milan. So even though I was there for our greatest ever victory (maybe), my memory of it is tinged with regret that I missed our subsequent greatest ever defeat.
So there you go. No point being jealous - there's always something else to regret.
