Whipping out the fag packet

Doncaster said that the ?8 million playing budget was twice as much as we could afford. So prior to relegation next year's playing budget was ?4 million. According to the EDP we will lose ?7 million as a result of relegation. So next year's playing budget is -?3 million. If those figures are anything like accurate then anyone who thinks that we will be able to compete with clubs like Carlisle and Yeovil is in for a shock.
