this team we're going to get together

what are we using to fund it? My concern is that as LOJ will point out the idea of a strategy seems beyond the current executives. So we have no real thoughts at present on how to get out of division 3, as we don't really seem to have thought about going there in the first place. The financing isn't as simple as reduced tv revenues - our sponsorships will surely go down - I mean all the packages - will you pay as much to sponsor a third-divsion player as you would a higher-league player, especially when you know there's going to be less publicity for them; we couldn't even sell out sponsors' packages at the games this season so goodness knows what next; suppliers will want earlier payment from a club that is now living in reduced circumstances and so on. It doesn't really point to an easy ride in terms of bringing players in - and as we near the lowest reaches even the bright young players in the 4th/non=league will wonder what the real advantages are of joining a potentially struggling third division club.

So there's a lot of mess which needs sorting. And an appointment in the midst of this mess is going to be tricky.
