fans' forum - Open Day

Having read some of the messages below, I feel the posters on here are not so different from my natural home (Pink Un). So don't all banish me back there without a say. Be nice to me, I am grieving.

Today's Qs and As were just the final nail in the coffin for me. What exactly is going to have to happen for a large, and sadly it is a large group, to accept what happened yesterday goes beyond sad, it's simply unacceptable.

But hey, let's all have a love in and continue the myth that as long as we all stick together and support the board, manager and players it will all be alright in the end. Being relegated to the third division isn't so bad, we won't need loan players anymore and we can all visit some terrific new grounds, and never mind, if no one wants to buy Delia's shares we can all let the club keep our 20% rebates because that nice Mr Doncaster insists it will go towards "investment in the team". Did you realise money for the team and the infrastructure is kept separate?

Wow, I never realised.....

Honestly no script writer could make this stuff up, it's the stuff of nightmares and we are all living it.

I have never been so utterly down and despondent in all the time I have supported this club. When will we ever learn? It seems not even relegation to the third division can make an awful lot of people face up to reality. Keep on rewarding failure. Keep on dividing the fans. Keep on spending money we really don't have on players who don't either give a toss or are simply not good enough.

This isn't the NCFC I once knew.
