Don't5 know - the one I have seems ok, my buyers one seems crap. however, it was a general
moan about the archaic conveyancing procedure.. Why do they do everything slowly and by post. Example: I sign and send back the contact to my solicitor. He posts it to their solicitor who posts it to buyers - they sign and post back to their solicito who posts it to my solicitor. Each stage seems to take a week+.
There must be a quicker way.
Aslo, my solicitor returns the water and drainage search on my new house that was built in the 80's. Apparently the water supply is connected to the water main, the sewage drain to the sewage and the rain water drains to the main drains. Who'd have tought it?
