Could the problem

be that there is no-one to advise the board or at least tell them no to any of the ideas / suggestions that are about in the boardroom in all aspects of the running of the club. It seems to br that there are too many who blindly back / support delia / the board because of their past history. At agm's in the past there has seemed to be an undercurrent of the old boys club thing. you know the " I've been friends with etc etc for 30 years and they are the best thing the club ever had"
I also remember an joke article in a fanzine from the Chase era saying that the dream was to have loads of top noth hospitality areas but a football team plying its trade in the lower leagues. this now seems prophetic as we have fancy restraunts but a team that looks like it will drop into the third tier of english football. I know they pay for themselves but they seem to push them more than the ambitions of the football. Also what was the point of the sheets at tonight's game. who paid for them and for what purpose. to look good on t.v? Maybe if we played better it would look more impressive.
