I don't get it why the Whammers are still so irate about those two

Our really good players who've left us and and gone on to do really well (eg Sutton or Bellars) - I've never had anything other than warm feelings about them

You've got to be realistic. When you're Nodge or Wham and you happen to unearth a real gem - you just can't expect to hang onto them forever. A big club is going to come calling and they'll be off. It's the Law. No use going on and on and on and on being bitter about it like some sad ex-husband still bleating on about what a cow his wife was 20 years ago.
