What's the most you've ever heard for a keeper? 9m for Gordon? for Ward to get a game over him?
400k, which now has 100k on top for promotion, is a steal for a keeper
For me, the best keeper in the championship is Westwood at Coventry, again, a 500k nice buy from Carlisle
Like you say, getting what we got for Lewis, when he wasn't even first choice, was brilliant money, no matter how much you look back in hindsight at his worth, no club would offer a million for him, even now
