the current regime have trebled our debt, and have to show for it our weakest squad in half a century - a squad which is likely to repeat a feat last achieved at a time when Neville Chamberlain still had a year to run as PM. Yet at Preston, by which time the writing was clearly on the wall, people were almost s**tting themselves in their excitement to touch the hem of a majority shareholder's robe. I just don't get it.
