What makes a manager a good one?
One that can lead his team through any situation, IMO. Keane jumped ship when times got hard for Sunderland.
Putting aside the usual managers (ones like you've listed), I rate Mick McCarthy, Alan Curbishley, Roy Hodgson, Chris Coleman, Martin O'Neill, Gus Hiddink, Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes all better than Keane.
Heck, even Gary Megson has a better record than he does.
