Anyone here got one of them there new ipod touch thingys?

my 5 year old 3rd gen ipod is about to die - thinking of replacing it, but would prefer something "music orientated" but with internet browser and email capability...... I dont need a phone as I've a company one.

I see the ipod touch uses safari as a web browser - is that anygood?!

Not much difference in prices between higher end ipod touch and a compact notebook - - if the ipod touch internet and email is shyte, might be better off with a notebook for tinternet and then a cheapo ipod shuffle for music?
