'mature' and less likely to be as vocal and confrontational.

The increase of the family part of the support has diluted the base we had back in the Chase days.

I don't think that's a bad thing, for me its good that football can now be a socially acceptable thing, rather than something that caused people to give you a funny look, like they expected you to erupt into random acts of hooliganism at any moment.

That said, we do seem to take longer to turn than many many other clubs, although i've heard nothing about mass protests etc at Charlton this season.

I wonder if there is a degree of surrender involved, in that the whole football landscape is so absurdly removed from reality now, is there really any point?

Has the fight been knocked out of many who so badly wanted this new regime to be the bright new dawn after Chase?
