Just got back
took my brother-in-law and nephew. My nephew is twelve and he wore his colours with pride. Two things. 1. Their town centre was god-awful. Looked for a Macdonalds or some place to eat, found one on a depressing retail park where we ate surrounded by the sort of people who don't get out much. Parked the car in NCP in the Buttermarket, came back and found it had cost me ?8!!! Thieving bastads.
2. Why weren't we up for it? We'd have beat them if we'd played properly. Stead goal looked offside, Lisbie penalty probably was and Clingan penalty probably wasn't but who cares? Awful day, awful place and awful home support. Can't see us beating Reading, but can see Barnsley nicking one against Cov, so reckon it could be over....blow on a bruise...

- In fairness a lack of a McDonalds is usually the sign of a good town centre (NCFC) - Ben, Apr 19, 18:23:53
