1. The club can afford Morrison, even more so if its say ?1.25m plus add ons. I think the club has ?3.2m (without the parachute money) before signing Morrison.
2. We need another experienced striker. Thorne at 32 is ok for a fourth striker but I question whether he is ok if called upon for a lengthy run if and I hope not the first two strikers are injured etc. A by product of getting another experienced striker is that Ryan Jarvis can go on a season long loan which is what needs at this stage of his career.
3. Why do people assume that because we are buying Morrison (subject to signature) that is the end of Worthy's buying ? We know from one of the responses to the Capital Canaries AGM that Worthy is probably looking for a replacement for Francis. In addition Worthy was looking at signing Ward ( a CB !) before he joined Crystal Palace earlier this summer. I suspect that Worthy is looking for the right player(s) at a REALISTIC price.
4. Jester, as for W.M. Morrison supermarkets sponsoring Morrison that just what I was thinking earlier tonight. Good suggestion Jester.
