Oh no
Until the advent of Huckerby Jimmy's first few games for us were as electrifying as anything I have ever seen, in fact his initial impact was probably even more startling than Darren's. Ted was having a sulk and had probably gone by then and Bondy was trying to buy a winger. Tommy Hutchison fell through and then when Taylor went to Spurs they let Neighbour go.
That first game against Newcastle he was simply devastating - I'd never seen wing play like it in the flesh (this was the tail-end of Ramseyism).
I can't believe he's gone so young - a minutes rapturous applause is called for.
