we are selling ashton? I hope not and doubt it if any of the noises from the club and ashton are to be believed plus who can affor him... not wigan!

But othewise can we really afford to add a 2m stricker? Up front is the only place we are really strong! I like the ambition but is it a priority as we desperately need a creative midfielder - if we can't get the ball into the front two then does it matter who we have up front. Saying that against Crewe and Palace we created many chances and missed them.

Or does it mean that Ashton and Mckenzie have fallen out?
Or that Mckenzie is not considered up to the job?
