Aaron Lennon and David Pleat
I think that last night I heard David Pleat crying when Lennon came off for Beckham because he has "pace". When will people learn that pace is only a useful tool when it is combined with a good finish or cross? Moan moan Beckham has no pace, so what, he puts in incredible crosses and through balls almost every time he plays, which is more than the pace of Lennon did all match. It's the same old boring debate though so I'm sorry to bring it up.
What was Ashley Cole on last night? And David James?
