I watched the final 'Lost World of Communism' doc last night,
This one was on Romania and, no surprise they finished with the show trial of the Ceaucescus and the shaky home movie of their execution.
What I had never seen before was the camera going in for a close-up on Elena Ceaucescu.
Lovely old half her head blown off, shlopped on the floor like two pounds of offal.
One for the darker corners of the internet I would have thought rather than BBC2.
