no no, you're missing the point

IF he exists (I am sufficiently small minded to KNOW he doesn't exist) then what on earth is the point of him if he sits around not doing anything but being worshipped?

I understand the reason why people NEED to have some kind of God to worship and give meaning to their lives (quite why they can't do all these good things without god I don't know) but what good does HE himself do?
