This hare continuity thing

What I am groping towards (and I think pants is too, though far be it from me to put words in his mouth) is this.

As fans, we are quick to turn on the manager. Poor results, poor performances, poor press conferences, boo, you're s**t, sack him sack him sack him. As a result, we have changed our manager three times in

What pants and I are saying is that it is a remarkable thing to note the contrast between our short fuse with the managers, and our patient tolerance of the executive non-footballing management. Please note that this does NOT mean that I am saying it was wrong to sack any of Worthy, Grunt and Rodent. But please also note that this is NOT an answer to the criticisms of the management. It is not enough to say "Well they got rid of the bloke when he turned out to be s**t, so what more do you want?". The fact that they have made some good sacking decisions does not absolve them (a) from f**king up our finances to the point where we couldn't afford 50k for Bobinson, with the result that all our managers have doodly squit to spend; and (b) from making two s**te appointments (I'm ignoring Hamilton) in the first place.

So although it is true that the management should make good sacking decisions, it is also true that better management would be more likely to give us continuity, and that the root CAUSES of our lack of continuity are the management's fault.
