but if your CMs are playing badly

everyone else has to hoof it. The CMs are the link between front and back and between left and right. If THEY are having a s**t game your passing game will always be crap. We got midfield wrong last year and we are gambling a lot this year - get your CMs right and your defenders and forwards will look better straight away because WE'LL have the ball more.
