I wonder how much of that was actually due to other factors,

such as Lappin and Clingan playing a blinder, and Otsemobor putting in a best-ever shift. I have a problem seeing Croft as a weak link defensively - he tracks back like a madman, and never shirks a tackling opportunity. IMO it was Semi actually getting to grips with his role that made the difference. Having said that - I wasn't there!
