Chuffed for Lappin

If there's one thing that really pleased me about yesterday, it was the re-emergence of Simon Lappin. The guy has been thoroughly professional during his period in the wilderness, and not once has he complained. I thought we might never see him back in a Norwich shirt, which would have been a crying shame since he's made no secret of his desire to fight for a place. Even when we loaned him out to Motherwell, he was commenting that he hoped Norwich were still keeping an eye on him.

This season we have been crying out for players with fighting spirit, and I'm glad that, at last, Simon has been able to remind us what he can do.
