Just got back from the game

What a performance, stunning from start to end, best performance of the season, best away performance by some margin.

Ratings

Marshall 6 - Made a good save in the 90th minute, had 3 crosses to deal with all game and fluffed all 3
Semi 8 - Great to have him back playing like we know he can
Shackell 9 - Fantastic all game, man marked Jerome well even if it left the odd hole
Doc 8 - Same as Shackell, did superbly
Berty 7 - Didn't have too much to do today got forward well
Carney 7 - Didn't do a great deal, but held his position well and kept the ball moving forward, not sure but I think his error lead to their goal but heyho
Lappin 8.5 - Reminds me of Matty Patty, not the most skilled player but doesn't half put a shift him, he really seemed to have the hunger
Clingan 8.5 - Solid game chased everything, good strike for the goal and it's nice to have a guy who can make good use of corners.
Gow 7 - Played pretty well snapped a shot after Taylor and a defender had made a hash of it. Reminds me of hooly but less lightweight
Mooney 7 - Linked well with Lee ran about but didn't really threaten
Lee 8 - Will have silenced a few critics, he ran himself into the ground and put him self about (in the manner that makes opposition fans hate you)

We mullered them, yes it was a draw but their goal was completely against the run of play and we dominated the game from start to finish.

The away end was nearly full and was a cauldron of noise from start to finish, best away atmosphere in years, even when behind we were making noise, I hope it sounded good on the radio. Their fans offered nothing, masses of empty seats and discontent

Was nice to see Dion appear at the tunnel at the end in a nice suit though I don't think many noticed him.

We were sharp and generally wanted it more than the Brum players seemed to, a point gained and hopefully and performance that will be replicated.
