Amalfi coast is stunning, near to Naples which is a fascinating place

and Capri, Salerno which is nice and Pompei and s**t.
Well nice, fly into Salerno and take your time driving up the coast to Rome and fly back from there.

Watch out for thieving Gypsies in Rome though, seriously they are a plague. They come up to you in groups begging and jostle you whilst lifting your wallet.
