...on it, usual stuff about people getting 512 Grade A's and all that-

-in amongst all of this, one girl. Took five A Levels.

Results-3 A's, 2 B's.

Tears. Apparantly life is "in ruins" as her Uni wanted 5 A's. Have already told her demand is so high that they will not accept her now.

Parents are going to "look into this", may "sue the school"-apparantly the school have "let her down".

She isn't going to bother applying to any other Uni's as she "had set her heart on doing such and such at so and so Uni" and "doesn't know what she'll do now"

Christ, times change! It wasn't physically possible to do 5 A Levels when I took mine and if I'd have got those results, well, I'd still be celebrating!

People are saying that success is too easy, but now, it seems, success as in the case above, is seen as failure!
