Just got back from the game,

Fairly easy trip up from Merseyside.

It started with me getting f**king soaked walking from Blackpool South Station towards the ground. I headed over to the Swift Hound with quite a good contingent of City fans. Arrived to find a pleasant pub, as recommended on here. There were a load of city fans already in there along with the 4th official from todays game. He was drinking coke only. Had a few beers with colincanary and then we headed over to the ground. We were then robbed of ?28 going through the turnstiles. Lovely old rusty stadium, what there is of it anyway. We found some seats and waited for the teams to come out. We were joined by a group of the NCFC Stewards who were up doing a full weekend of it. I'm happy to report that they didn't sit down once throughout the whole match.

Well the match, s**te. Utter s**te. yet again we offered absolutely nothing. we were second to every ball and we made Blackpool look like Man Utd. Their first goal was a fluke. It was carried by the wind but the second was a tidy finish. If it hadn't been for a great tackle by Shack then it would have been 3-0. When we attacked it was only Hooligan and calamity Cort going forward, no help from midfield. Bertrand and Klingon just strolled around all afternoon. Croft was yet again the most committed and had our only decent shot of the first half. He was subbed mid way through the second and went and lazed in the dug out with his hands behind his head like he was on a beach. Russell was useless and i forgot he was even playing. Emo had the only real effort of the second half.

The players played like they already know we are down. There was no effort or commitment. The city fans were streaming out with 10mins to go, a sight I've never seen away. when the final whistle went the players were booed and never even attepted to come over and say thanks as they could see the discontent amongst our fans. We left the ground to a chorus of "That's why you're going down" to which some joined in with "That's why we're going down".

Headed back over to the station and went for another beer after the game while waiting for my train. Then jumped on, put my iphone on shuffle and what came on? No surprises by radiohead, summed it up perfectly!

I'm not one to panic but we are going down, 100%. Get your bets on and make some money off of it because it will be the only good part of a dreadful season.
