Gunn commented: "The players approached us and asked if they could fly up as part of their preparations for the game. With the financial situation at the Club being what it is, they have paid for the flights out of their own pockets and that's the sort of commitment to the cause we want to see.

"The financial side of things at the Club dictates our travelling arrangements but the lads were happy to put their hands into their own pockets and make that commitment to us. That shows there is a commitment from the lads, so some of us will be flying up this evening which obviously takes the travelling time out of the equation.

"Their preparation will be the best possible and that's down to themselves. If it helps get them a result at Blackpool, it's a small price to pay."
