Roeder had a choice - he could have bought hungry young players for peanuts like Coppell and Wolves did. He chose to go for expensive Premier League reserves and raw youngsters, none of whom had any sell on value. It's like renting a house for years and having nothing to show for it as opposed to buying and paying down a mortgage.

Our wage bill is in the top half of the Championship, yet we are in the bottom two. You can't blame the Board for that.

We have been fundamentally mismanaged, from a playing perspective, for about 4 years, by successive managers. And if the current loan crop are anything to go by, we still are.
