The petition is utter bollocks

What the club needs right now is positive action, and I'm afraid the petition on this site is not in any way helpful. In fact, including it on the homepage of this so-called "Fans Community" is ridiculous. You cannot expect to be taken seriously with this nonsense:

"...the prospect of spending the next decade playing football in League One or lower."

Decade? Or lower? What kind of logic are you applying here?

"There will be no squad to build on for next season..."

No squad to build on? Based on what assumption? That every single player leaves if we go down? This statement has no foundation of truth whatsoever.

"Upon relegation it is likely that we'll sink to the bottom of League One and face another tough battle just to avoid dropping into League Two."

Unbelievable.

This is scaremongering to the extreme. Clubs get relegated. It may well happen to us this season. But fundamentally the petition is as flawed as the loan of Troy Archibald-Henville. It's a vague threat that doesn't offer any long term solutions.
