I don't think the board will get us out of this

I gave up hoping they could long ago. But in the absence of an alternative, you're basically some chap on the interweb who isn't happy (none of us are) and screaming about something with no hope whatever of making it happen. The rules of the game change when an alternative owner is found; at present, like many other clubs, we're stuck.
