This is exactly right.
People who look at any one event for relegation such as hu8ck leaving are deluded.
It is normally a gradual process in a downward spiral.
GR only delayed the outcome by one season last year.
The problems were too deep, no investment, poor squad and no youth team development.
The post prem Worthy era was where it really started going pear shaped.
The para payments were pissed away.
Teams like US, Charlton, Southampton and Watford have shown that if you dont control your spending post relegation its a f**king hard fall.
