Two weeks ago I backed us to beat the drop
and still do but today has really pi**ed me off. The usual bright(ish) start followed right on cue with us going one down to a soft goal, a piss poor remainder of the first half, Coventry often being given as much time and space as the wanted, Cureton missing a sitter, the ref missing a pretty straigtforward penalty, another sloppy looking goal and then, just to compound my misery every other club around us goes and does exactly what they shouldn't and wins. We' looked a poor side in the first half and much better in the second so the optimist in me says there's still time left, our run of bad luck will change and some luck will come our way - but boy, it's a bit tough at the moment.
Highlights of the day? Hoolahan tried and tried and actually looked like the only player who gave a toss in the first half... and that's about it.
Lowlights - can't be arsed as there are too many.
