Squad for next season

Loan players to go back:

Out of contract:
Lappin, Croft, Fotheringham, Eagle, Nelson, Spillane, Cort

Players contracted for next Season:
Marshall, Otsemobor, Drury, Stephanovic, Clinghan, Cureton, Doherty, Hoolihan, Russell, Pattison, Mcdonald, Martin

Youngsters
Rudd, Daley, Lapthorne, Smith, Renton, Adeyemi

If we go down I expect all the out of contract players to leave along with Clinghan and Marshall. There has to be long term doubts as to whether Stephanovic will ever come back after such a severe knee injury at his age. So we could be left with a squad consisting of the following:
Otsemobor, Drury, Cureton, Doherty, Hoolihan, Russell, Pattison, Mcdonald, Martin, Rudd, Daley, Lapthorne, Smith, Renton, Adeyemi.
Not only is it barely enough to make a team, 7 of them hardly have a first team game between them. I feel that if we go down we are more likely to finish near the bottom of Division 1 rather than the top. If we go into administration I feel we will be facing back to back relegations.

We are more likely to be the next Bradford, Swindon etc rather than a Leicester who are bouncing straight back.

If we go down I fear we are still some way off hitting rock bottom.
