Today was a fairly scrappy one nil home win. Or should have been.
That's the problem.
The side is decent enough to get out of this IF IF IF IF we can stop conceeding stupid goals.
Today was another example of us gifting a goal through switching off, and not defending properly as a unit.
Far to bloody easy the way that attack just strolled into our box, and how no one else reacted to Marshall's spill.
Could he have held that? yes. Will plenty of other keepers spill simialr efforts that skip off the turf this season? Hell yes.
The shame is how easy they got to that shooting position, and the fact none of our players gmabled on Marshall spilling a shot he was always going to do well to hold.
Going forward i'm not THAT worried. Nowhere near enough to worry the top end of the table, but enough to get us out of this, provided we cut out the soft goals.

- Just like last week. The Preston player had no one within 10ft of him - (NCFC) - CB41, Feb 21, 21:51:11
