Back from the game

The positives - there were a few 5-10 minute spells when we looked quality, we passed it around nicely, Croft working the wing and putting himself about. He was really going for it today, putting in tackles, spreading the ball about - my MoM for sure.

Apart from that very little else to report. Thought Cureton's goal was well taken, sitting on the front row of the Barclay had no clue how they scored - but let's just say they didn't deserve to - hardly looked threatening at all.

Ref was a complete dick. This one was the worst you can have - waved play on for clear-cut fouls on both sides, blew his whistle when he didn't need to, and seemed allergic to taking out his book. Very annoying.

Anyway thought Hoolahan was pretty sharp, Shackell looked pretty solid, Doherty needs to KEEP HIS ARMS DOWN and stop pushing - and the Fairy and his croneys need to get off Marshall's back - plus the rest of those Barclay tossers booing him! He hardly put a foot wrong all game and his face and reaction at the end was one of dejection, disappointment and he was clearly upset. Not the right time to be doing that at all.

All in all a pretty dire game, brief periods of positives, the players just need our support and not the boos.
