Oh I missed that, although my wife is called an "assistent" in Dutch which here means
that you are not the consultant. She's had her medical degree for years so is a full doctor ("arts"), but because she doesn't finish her specialisation for another year she is still called an "arts assistent".
Which sounds like one of those "teachers" at playgroup.
