That "You don't know what you're doing moment"
With every recent manager (except Hamilton) I've really bought into the idea that they were "the one" to lead us back to the promised land. And then, sooner or later, I've had an epiphany when it's become clear that, perhaps, they don't have any more idea than me and are just guessing.
With Rioch it was when he packed the midfield in a desperate attempt to hold on to a two goal lead against recent non-leaguers Cheltenham. And failed.
For Worthy it took a long while coming, but then he let Malky go in a stupidity to match all stupidity.
With Granty it was when he put the Doc in midfield.
For Roeder it was when he for no reason at all replaced Mo with Gibbs for the Hull game, moved Bertrand and destroyed our winning run there and then.
And with Gunny it was when he brought Shackell back. God I hope I'm wrong about that
