anyone down the bottom of the table is not going to get much away from home
Blackpool, Doncaster, Plymouth, Forest and Southampton are all managing a point per game, or better, away from home. We are nowhere near that. All of them, with the exception of Plymouth have more away games left than us, and on present trends will average more points per game from those games as well. "Glimmer of Hope" is not how I would put it.
All we can hope is that two of the other teams take the 10-point hit and that Plymouth's freefall continues. Which is unlikely. Or that we work out how to stop conceding stupid goals. Which seems even more unlikely.
