Universe expanding faster than first thought
Former Countdown host Carol Vorderman has stumbled across evidence that the universe is expanding at almost six times the rate first thought.
By adding the 5 to the 3 and then multiplying by the 25 and taking away the remaining 7 she was able to calculate that this time next year the universe will be 'a lot bigger'.
The discovery raises major concerns for the NASA space programme with rising fuel costs already making it prohibitively expensive to go to other galaxies.
A spokesman for the mathmatician spoke of the ironic nature of the discovery, stating that the pin-up, a former champion of the 'Slimfast' diet product was more used to drawing attention to things which made things smaller!
