Then modric went in a bit late and he kicked out, modric booked and eboue sent off

Probably the right decision. Maybe another ref would have interpreted that modric did it on purpose to see if he could get a player sent off

Can only judge whether he got it right by the end of the game, his history doesn't favour him. He then booked clichy for his first foul soon after. Which to me suggests he's lost his cool, as usual

Maybe dean will calm down at half time, it's not even a dirty game
