Phew! We were lucky to lose that one

by just one goal. What a pathetic first half - as bad as anything under Roeder. But, hey, we've got our Club back. In fact, it's just like it never went away.

Russell had another "don't give a s**t" day today, first half particularly. Spent all his time man-marking 16 sq yds of empty turf. Drury isn't up to the job at the moment, Jono Semaphore is soooo predictable - run at speed with the ball up to the half way line, emergency stop, then either pass to Doherty or lump it aimlessly "into the channels". They all improved in the second half to be fair, but we lost it in the first half. And once again it was central midfield - we've seen it so often, with Safri, Etuhu, Francis etc. All good players, but they didn't turn up very often, and when they didn't we suffered defensively and in attack. Russell needs to drag himself into the shower and have a word with himself - "Rusty, you're a fukun disgrace".

Forget the t**t of a referee, we deserved to lose.
