I think, actually, she *is* milking it for the money, but only so that she's got money to leave for her kids, seeing as right from the outset it didn't look like she'd be around to see them grow up. Fair enough, really. If Living f**king TV want to throw muchos dinero at her to make a death diary, why not take if it means being able to leave her kids something.
