It would surely HAVE to be opt-in. Mind you, some people these days don't
seem to care. I am still stunned at how many will actually use a couple of services which allow them to post their location on Facebook or whatever.
Doesn't take a genius to work out which location home is does it ? And then invite burglaries with statuses like "Blah blah is currently on a 4 week trip to the other side of the world. Aren't you all jealous ? And the wife is with me too. Hope my house is OK!"
