Come on I think one is being over-critical here

Granted, Johnson is w**k and will do a Ricketts, but Owen is still top quality. He is coring goals for fun at Madrid when he plays and is still England's spearhead. Smith isn't amazing, but he battles, holds the ball up well and is a good option off the bench. As for Defoe, well i believe him to be over-rated (maybe im your antithesis!) but he only ever scores at home against s**t teams in the prem. Crouchy - well done mate u deserve it although the Americans might point your way to the NBA when u get there!
